About eBay rStock

eBay operates a global online e-commerce platform that connects buyers and sellers of goods. The company develops and maintains network software systems supporting item listings, competitive bidding auctions, and buy-it-now transactions. The platform does not directly hold inventory for the majority of items for sale, relying primarily on collecting transaction commissions and listing fees from third-party sellers who utilize its network infrastructure to complete trades of second-hand items, collectibles, and new products.
